After losing my dog to a long battle with cancer I had a hard time dealing her absence. Coming home to an empty house with no tail wagging to greet me was painful. I spent time grieving and using art as a therapeutic outlet, and a passion grew. I received many requests from friends and family to portray their pets for similar reasons. Some had a lost pet they wanted to memorialize and others just wanted to brighten their home with some art.
